The cordless handset sits in the charging cradle. The cordless base is what the handset connects to to make and receive calls. The cordless base is usually located within a network closet, but may also be located near the charging cradle.
Register Handset to Base
1. Put the base into Registration Mode by long-pressing the paging button (looks like a WiFi symbol) on the base station until the registration LED flashes. The registration LED is the light with the Phone icon.
2. If the handset does not say "Unregistered", the handset is still paired to a base and must be unpaired before it can be paired to the base. Please skip to De-register Handset from Base. If the handset says "Unregistered":
a. Press the Reg soft key to register the handset
OR
b. You can also press OK > Register Handset and select the desired base to register the handset, usually base 1. You must enter the base PIN (default: 0000) after a base is found.
3. After the handset is registered successfully, the phone says “Handset Subscribed” and “Base NO. (The last 4 characters of the connected Base’s MAC address)” and an icon with the internal handset number and handset name appears on the phone screen
De-Register Handset from Base

From the main screen, hit the circular “OK” button on the dial pad and select “Settings” (white gear with blue box) and hit “OK”

Go to “Registration” and hit “OK”

Go to “De-reg Handset” and hit “OK”

Enter the PIN (default: 0000)

Select handset, hit “OK”

Confirm to de-reg the handset by selecting “Yes”

The handset is unregistered from the base and is ready to be paired with a new base
