Page a Single Phone

Dial **<ext>

The call will be auto-answered by the extension dialed.

Paging a single phone is considered an intercom, as the audio is bi-directional, or both parties can speak and be heard

Page Multiple Phones

To page multiple phones, Multicast Paging is used. Multicast Paging is unidirectional, meaning the phone that initiates the page is the only heard party.

Multicast Paging utilizes groups to send the page. Groups can be made up of all extensions or specific extensions. A total of 25 groups can be created for Multicast Paging.

Please contact CallHarbor Support including:

  • Your Name
  • Your Extension
  • Your Company Name
  • Paging Group(s):
    • A name for the group, such as Page All or Elementary
      • the name should describe what the page is used for
    • Which extension(s) should be able to initiate the page

    • Should the page override a phone call?
      • If a page overrides a phone call, the call will be placed on hold automatically
      • If a page does not override a call, then the call will continue without interuption

Once Multicast Paging is set up by CallHarbor Support, page buttons will be added to the phones with the ability to initiate the page. The button will be named the same as the Paging Group.
