What is Inventory?

Inventory holds your phone system's phone numbers, SMS numbers, phone hardware, and fax accounts. Changes that need to be made to phone and SMS numbers, phones, or fax accounts can be made here.


Access Inventory

1. Select Inventory

2. By default, Inventory opens to the Phone Numbers sub-tab


Phone Numbers

All phone numbers associated with your phone system will be listed in this tab. The treatment and destination set determine how the call will be routed when the phone number is called.

SMS Numbers

All SMS numbers associated with your phone system will be listed in this tab. The treatment and destination set determine where the text will be routed when SMS is received. The user associated with the SMS number will also be able to send SMS using the SMS number.

Phone Hardware

All phone hardware associated with your phone system will be listed in this tab. The MAC address is a unique identifier of the phone. The model is the type of phone. The Line is the extension assigned to the phone.

Mobile Apps, Web Softphone, and Manually Provisioned devices will not appear in this tab. Manually provisioned devices are devices that are registered to the system, but a MAC address is not associated in the portal.
