What is Music on Hold?

Music on Hold(MOH) is a collection of audio files, either music or messages, that are played to a caller while on hold.

MOH can be added at different levels in the phone system:

• Domain (The entire phone system)
• Site
• Department
• User/Call Queue

MOH is inherited from the level lowest on the list. For example, if a user does not have MOH uploaded, but the Site the user belongs to and the domain both have MOH uploaded. The user will use the MOH uploaded to the Site.

No Music On Hold

If no MOH has been uploaded to any level of the phone system, CallHarbor's default MOH will be utilized.
