Add a New Time Frame

This article assumes you are logged into the Manager Portal as a Site Manager or Office Manager.

If you do not know your login name or password, please click here or contact CallHarbor Support

1.  Select the Timeframe tab.

2. If this time frame should be available for use by all extensions, click Domain or click the + icon on the Domain row.
If clicking the + icon, please skip to step 5.

3. If this time frame should ONLY be available for a specific extension, click the extension, or click the + icon on the extension row.
Uncheck 'Hide Users Without Time Frames' if the extension is not currently displayed.

If clicking the + icon, please skip to step 5.

4. Once in the domain or extension, click Add Time Frame.

5. The Add a Timeframe popup window will open. If adding for domain, domain will be listed in the popup window. If adding for an extension, the name and extension number will be listed in the popup window.

6. Select the type of Timeframe to be created. For more information regarding time frame types, please click here.

Always

1. Enter a name for the Time Frame

2. Click Save. Cancel will disregard the new time frame

3. The time frame is created and ready to use


Days Of the Week

1. Select Days of the Week

2. Enter a name for the Time Frame

3. Click Next. Cancel will disregard the new time frame

4. Select the Days of the week that the timeframe should be active

5. By default, the start and end times will be 8 am - 5 pm

6. To update the start or end time, click the textbox, and a dropdown will appear. The dropdown goes in increments of 15 minutes

If you need to set a time outside of a 15-minute interval, you can enter it by typing. (Example: 9:20 AM can be entered by typing 920am into the field.)

7. If all days will follow the same start and end time, set the first day, then use Copy to All, which appears when you hover over the row

Use the + icon to add another time range for the day

8. Set the Recurrence. Every week will allow the timeframe to repeat indefinitely. 

Custom allows you to set when the timeframe starts, how often it recurrs and when the time frame ends

9. Once all days, start and end times, and recurrence are set, click Save.

Cancel will disregard the new time frame. Back will go back to the time frame type selection page

10. The time frame is created and ready to use


Specific Dates

1. Select Specfic Dates

2. Enter a name for the Time Frame

3. Click Next. Cancel will disregard the new time frame

4. Add dates for the time frame to be active. Please enter each date as its own entry. Date Ranges can cause the time frame to not activate correctly.

5. Enter the Date in mm/dd/yyyy. By default the entire date is selected, 12 am to 11:59 pm

6. Adjust the start and end times by clicking the time textbox. A dropdown will appear. The dropdown goes in increments of 15 minutes

If you need to set a time outside of a 15-minute interval, you can enter it by typing. (Example: 9:20 AM can be entered by typing 920am into the field.)

6. Once the start and end times are set, click the + icon to add the date to the time frame

7. Continue adding dates until all specific dates are added. Use the X icon to remove a date if needed

8. Set the recurrence.

 

If one date is entered, the options available for recurrence are based on the dates entered for the time frame. Since 02/28/25 is a Friday, the last day of the month, and the 28th, each of these options become available for recurrence

Custom allows you to set exactly how it recurrs

If multiple dates are entered, recurrence only allows for Does not recur or Every year on the selected Dates.

9. Once all dates, start and end times, and recurrence are set, click Save.

Cancel will disregard the new time frame. Back will go back to the time frame type selection page

10. The time frame is created and ready to use


Holidays

1. Select Holidays

2. Enter a name for the Time Frame, we recommend Holiday or Holidays.

3. Click Next. Cancel will disregard the new time frame

4. Add Holidays by searching in the search bar

5. When searching, please use the Proper Name of the Holiday. For Example, the Fourth of July will not return a result, but Independence Day does

6. Enter all holidays observed by your company.

7. Set the start and end time that the time frame should activate on these days. Use the + icon to add time ranges within the day

Adjust the start and end times by clicking the time textbox. A dropdown will appear. The dropdown goes in increments of 15 minutes

8. Set the recurrence

To repeat every year, select Yearly on selected holiday

9. Once all holidays, start and end times, and recurrence are set, click Next.

Cancel will disregard the new time frame. Back will go back to the time frame type selection page

10. Observed Holidays allows you to set how the timeframe will apply depending on the day of the week the holiday falls on.

11. Set your business work week for Workweek. By default, Monday to Friday is selected

12. Set If holiday is on settings

13. Once the workweek and if holiday is on settings are completed, click Save

Cancel will disregard the new time frame. Back will go back to the time frame type selection page

14. The time frame is created and ready to use


Custom

1. Select Custom

2. Enter a name for the Time Frame

3. Click Save. Cancel will disregard the New Time Frame

4. You will now be brought to the Custom time frame edit page

5. To add to the time frame, click Add and select the type of day/date to add

6. Follow the section for the type to enter the days or dates:

Days of the Week

Specific Dates

Holidays

7. Once days, dates, and holidays are added to the time frame, it will look like this

8. Please note that each day, date, or holiday entered will activate the time frame, so days, dates, and holidays should follow the same call routing.

For example, if setting up for business hours/when the business is open, only add Days, Specific Dates, and Holidays in which the business is still open.
