Install the New Progressive Web App (PWA) (version 44.1.1)

Open the previous version of PWA (search the start menu for "Callharbor" or "Snapmobile" if you don't see the icon)

Go to "Settings" and make note of what audio devices are selected for "Microphone" and "Audio Output"
1. Click the "Settings" wrench icon and note:

2. "Microphone" device

3. "Audio Output" device

Google Chrome

 

1. Click the three vertical dots in the top right (next to minimize window), then "App Info"

 

 

2. Click "Cookies and Site Data"

 

 

3. Click "Manage on-device site data"

 

 

4. Click the trash can icons for control.callharbor.com and callharbor.com

 

 

5. Hit "Reload"

 

 

6. Click "Uninstall app"

 

 

7. Check the box "Also delete data from Chrome" and then click "Remove"

 

 

 

8. Log in to the portal in Google Chrome, then click "Apps" and "Web Softphone"

 

 

9. Click the "Install Snapmobile Web" or "CallHarbor Progressive Web App"

 

 

10. Click "Install"

 

 

11. When it asks for the microphone and audio output options, select what was used previously, or hit "Next" if it was "Default"

 

12. A green, phone icon in the top right will indicate the web phone is registered. If you have a Call Center tab, please ensure your status is set correctly.

 

 

 

13. Use the dial pad to perform an outbound call. Please also have someone test an inbound call to your extension

 

14. If the Chrome tab with the web softphone is still open, please close it as only one instance of the web phone can be open at a time (either the desktop app or the browser app but not both).

 

Microsoft Edge

 

1. In the Progressive Web App version of the web softphone, click the 3 horizontal dots in the top-right corner and then select "App Settings"

 
2. Click "Clear cookies"

 
3. Click "Uninstall"

 
4. Check the box "Also clear data from Microsoft Edge" then click "Remove"

 

5. Log in to the portal in Microsoft Edge, then click "Apps" and "Web Softphone"

6. Click "App available. Install Callharbor Web Phone"

 

7. Click "Install"

 
8. Select the options you would like and then click "Allow."

 
9. When it asks for the microphone and audio output options, select what was used previously, or hit "Next" if it was "Default"

 
10. A green, phone icon in the top right will indicate the web phone is registered. If you have a Call Center tab, please ensure your status is set correctly.


11. If the Chrome tab with the web softphone is still open, please close it as only one instance of the web phone can be open at a time (either the desktop app or the browser app but not both).
