Android: Switching from CallHarbor Mobile or Cloud Softphone to CallHarborUC

Cloud Softphone to CallHarbor UC

  1. Click the three dot menu at the top right of the Cloud Softphone app
  2. Tap the Settings option
  3. Tap Reset Application
  4. Tap OK to reset the application
  5. Press and hold on the Cloud Softphone icon   tap app info, and then tap uninstall. (this process can vary depending on the brand and version of your Android phone.)
  6. Open the Google Play Store and search for “CallHarborUC” or click on the following link:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.callharboruc.app.android&hl=en_US&gl=US
  7. Click the “Install” button in the app store and wait for the app to download and automatically install
  8. Click the “Open” button that appears in the app store once the installation is complete, OR use the search function on your phone to locate the app and then tap it.
  9. The app will ask for you to allow permissions one at a time, click the “Next” button on the bottom and then “Allow” for each.. Allow all permissions (Notifications, Microphone (“While using the app”), Phone, Contacts, etc.)
  10. Enter your username and password (this will be the same credentials that are used for logging into the portal) then tap “Sign in.” 
    If you were utilizing @CALLHARBOR2 or @CALLHARBOR previously you will no longer need that appended to the end of your username.
