Switching from CallHarbor Mobile or Cloud Softphone to CallHarborUC

CallHarbor Mobile

If you are currently utilizing CallHarbor Mobile, some changes may be required to make sure that your queue calls, or general calls, ring the new application. Please reach out to CallHarbor Support to inform them of your switch to ensure that your account is ready for the new application. 

 

Both applications may be installed side by side (CallHarbor Mobile & CallHarborUC) if you would like to test ahead of uninstalling CallHarbor Mobile. Please note that once uninstalled, CallHarbor Mobile may not be reinstalled.

Cloud Softphone to CallHarborUC

Android

  1. Click the three-dot menu at the top right of the Cloud Softphone app
  2. Tap the Settings option
  3. Tap Reset Application
  4. Tap OK to reset the application
  5. Press and hold on the Cloud Softphone icon   tap app info, and then tap uninstall. (this process can vary depending on the brand and version of your Android phone.)

iOS

  1. Click the three-dot menu at the top right of the Cloud Softphone app
  2. Tap Reset Application
  3. Tap OK to reset the application
  4. In your App Library, press and hold on the Cloud Softphone icon   and select Delete App

Download CallHarborUC

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store and search for “CallHarborUC” or click on the following link:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.callharboruc.app.android&hl=en_US&gl=US
  2. Click the “Install” button in the app store and wait for the app to download and automatically install
  3. Click the “Open” button that appears in the app store once the installation is complete, OR use the search function on your phone to locate the app and then tap it.
  4. Enter your username and password (this will be the same credentials that are used for logging into the portal), then tap “Sign in.” 
    If you were utilizing @CALLHARBOR2 or @CALLHARBOR previously, you will no longer need that appended to the end of your username.
  5. The app will ask for you to allow permissions one at a time, click the “Next” button at the bottom, and then “Allow” for each. Allow all permissions (Notifications, Microphone (“While using the app”), Phone) Contacts do not need to be enabled if you do not need access to your phone's native contacts.

iOS

  1. In the app store, search for “callharboruc” or click this link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/callharboruc/id6497948881
  2. Tap the “GET” button. 

  3. Once the app has downloaded, click the "Open" button

  4. Enter your username and password (this will be the same credentials that are used for logging into the portal), then tap “Sign in.” 
    If you were utilizing @CALLHARBOR2 or @CALLHARBOR previously, you will no longer need that appended to the end of your username.
  5. The app will ask for you to allow permissions one at a time, click the “Next” button at the bottom, and then “Allow” for each. Please Allows Notifications. Contacts do not need to be enabled if you do not need access to your phone's native contacts.
  6. To allow Microphone access, please make a call using the app.
